Neo Tokyo challenge submission - honorable mention

Here's the final images from Unreal for my submission, for which I've received an honorable mention!

I often like to come up with my own concepts, but to give myself a stronger start I decided to go with an existing concept but only really use it as a starting point. For this I used Yari Lute's excellent submission. To give it my own twist, I wanted to stylize it a bit more both in terms of shapes and texturing but also lighting. It was a nice challenge trying to merge all these things into the final piece but I had a ton of fun and I really enjoyed the process. One of the references I used for this was Overwatch, I definitely checked out Thiago Klafke's work quite a lot and a lot of images from his Artstation ended up on my moodboards.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave some feedback, in particular my friend Floris Roding who gave feedback on my lighting that helped me push things further.
